Copyright Infringement
Last updated: 09/01/2026
At Supplies-Hut, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and are committed to complying with applicable copyright and trademark laws. If you believe that any content, product listing, image, or material on our website infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please follow the procedure below to notify us.
1. Reporting Infringement
If you believe your copyrighted work or trademark has been infringed on our website, please send us a written notice that includes:
- Identification of the protected work or mark: clearly describe the copyrighted work or trademark you believe is being infringed, with links or references where possible.
- Identification of the infringing material: a description or direct URL of the specific page, listing, or image on our website you believe infringes your rights.
- Your contact information: your name, email address, and, if applicable, your role (rights holder or authorized representative).
- Statement of good faith: a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of accuracy: a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Signature: your physical or electronic signature.
2. Our Response
Upon receiving a complete and valid notice, we will review the claim and aim to respond within 5–10 business days. If appropriate, we will remove or disable access to the material in question while the matter is resolved. Because some products on our site are fulfilled through third-party distributors, we may also forward relevant claims to the distributor responsible for the listing as part of our review.
3. Counter-Notification
If material you submitted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including: identification of the removed material and where it previously appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error, your contact information, and your consent to the jurisdiction described in Section 5 below. We will evaluate counter-notices in good faith and may restore the material if the claim is not further pursued within a reasonable time.
4. Limitation of Liability
Supplies-Hut is committed to respecting third-party intellectual property rights and takes reasonable steps to avoid infringing use on our site, including working with our distributors and vendors to source legitimate, properly licensed products. That said, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from a claimed infringement, and our sole responsibility upon a valid notice is to review and, where appropriate, remove or disable the material in question.
5. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
6. Contact Us
Send infringement notices or counter-notices to [email protected], or use our Contact Us page. We will review your submission promptly and take appropriate action.
