Welcome to Supplies-Hut (“we,” “us,” “our,” operating at supplieshut.com). By accessing or using this website, placing an order, or participating in an auction, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your province or territory, to place an order or bid on an auction on this site. By using this site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Products, Pricing & Availability

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate pricing, descriptions, and images. However, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors, cancel affected orders, and issue a full refund if a product was mispriced or mislisted. Product availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.

3. How Orders Are Fulfilled (Distributor Shipping Model)

Many products sold on Supplies-Hut are fulfilled through third-party distributors and suppliers. When you place an order, we forward it directly to the relevant distributor, who ships the product to you on our behalf. This means:

• Delivery times may vary by distributor and are estimates only, not guarantees.
• Packaging, branding, or included documentation may reflect the distributor rather than Supplies-Hut.
• In rare cases, a distributor may report a product as Out Of Stock after your order is placed. If this happens, we will notify you and offer a full refund or a comparable alternative.
• Once an order has been forwarded to a distributor for shipment, it may not be possible to modify or cancel it. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change, and we will do our best to accommodate it before shipment.

4. Weekly Auctions

From time to time, we run weekly auctions on select items. The following terms apply specifically to auction listings, in addition to the rest of these Terms:

• Binding bids: Placing a bid is a binding commitment to purchase the item at that price if you are the winning bidder. Bids cannot be retracted once submitted.
• Payment window: Winning bidders must complete payment within the timeframe stated on the auction listing (or, if none is stated, within 12 hours of the auction closing). Failure to pay within this window may result in forfeiture of the item and restriction from future auctions.
• As-is condition: Unless the listing states otherwise, auction items are sold as-is, and may be open-box, refurbished, excess inventory, or otherwise outside our standard retail condition. Review the listing description and photos carefully before bidding.
• Returns on auction items: Because auction pricing reflects the as-is nature of these items, auction purchases are final sale and not eligible for return or refund, except where the item received is materially different from its listing description, or is defective in a way not disclosed in the listing.
• No chargebacks after receipt: Filing a payment dispute or chargeback for an auction item you have received and that matches its listing description, without first contacting us to resolve the issue, may be treated as fraudulent activity under Section 6 below.

5. Affiliate & Third-Party Vendor Products

Some products featured on Supplies-Hut are affiliate listings. When you click through to purchase one of these items, you will be redirected to the vendor’s own website (for example, Amazon or Etsy) to complete your purchase directly with that vendor. For these products:

• Your purchase, payment, shipping, and any returns or refunds are governed entirely by that vendor’s own terms and policies, not by Supplies-Hut.
• Supplies-Hut is not a party to that transaction and receives no access to your payment details when you check out on the vendor’s site.
• We make reasonable efforts to feature reputable vendors but do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party listings, pricing, or stock availability, as these are controlled by the vendor and may change without notice.
• Any dispute regarding an affiliate purchase should be directed to the vendor’s own customer service. We are happy to help point you in the right direction if you are unsure who to contact.

6. Fraud Prevention, Returns & Chargeback Policy

To protect both our customers and our business from fraud and abuse, the following applies to all orders placed directly through Supplies-Hut (see Section 4 above for auction-specific return terms):

• Standard returns follow our separate Return Policy, which sets out eligibility windows and conditions.
• We reserve the right to request photo or video evidence for claims of damaged, defective, or incorrect items before issuing a replacement or refund.
• We reserve the right to decline a return, refuse service, or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity, including but not limited to: repeated “item not received” claims for successfully delivered orders, patterns of high-value returns inconsistent with genuine use, use of stolen payment methods, or providing false information at checkout.
• Filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us to resolve the issue may result in your account being suspended and may be contested by us with evidence of delivery and order fulfillment.
• We reserve the right to maintain a record of order and return history to identify abuse patterns, and to limit or refuse future orders from accounts or individuals associated with confirmed fraudulent activity.
• None of the above limits your legitimate rights under our Return Policy or applicable consumer protection law for genuinely defective, damaged, or misdescribed items.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are estimates only. Supplies-Hut is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier, customs processing, distributor fulfillment times, or events outside our reasonable control. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier, except where required otherwise by applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site created by Supplies-Hut, including our logo, original text, and layout, is our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Product images, brand names, and trademarks belonging to third-party manufacturers or distributors remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed on this site, contact us at [email protected] and we will address it promptly.

9. Accounts & Prohibited Conduct

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, place fraudulent orders or bids, or interfere with the site’s normal operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Supplies-Hut is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or purchase of any product, including products fulfilled by third-party distributors or purchased through affiliate links to third-party vendors. Our total liability for any claim related to a direct purchase from Supplies-Hut is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any protection you are entitled to under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer protection law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, such as new product categories, auction formats, or partnerships. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
